JUNIOR GOLF CLINIC- July 26th & 27th

It is time for our annual Junior Clinic again!

The Clinic will be on MondayJuly 26th from 9am to 12pm and then the next day there will be a 4 hole Golf Tournament from 10am.

It is open to all children age 8 to 17 and costs just $25 per player.

Instruction is from award winning teacher Jim Empey, together with our own Glenn Ricker. Jim is a PGA Teaching Professional at Quail Hollow & JMR. In both 2002 and 2004 he was Teacher of the Year in the Rocky Mountain Section of the PGA.

Please register by Friday July 25th.

Steve Eaton is back and will be playing at the Clubhouse this Friday 2nd July from 6pm-9pm! Make sure you come along to enjoy some truly special entertainment whilst enjoying dinner this Friday. Steve is a great talent and is an Idaho native. He has written songs recorded by Art Garfunkel, The Carpenters, and Lee Greenwood and over the course of his career he has opened for Ray Charles & Carol King.

RANCH RUN & RIDE- Sat 26th & Sun 27th June

Our annual Ride and Run is back! As part of the Wild Rockies series, the mountain biking race takes place on Saturday 26^th and is followed by the running race the next day. The course is a fun 10 mile loop that starts above the Clubhouse and we have races for different abilities including kids bike and running races. Join us on the Clubhouse Patio this Friday night for our special Cinder Wine Tasting, part of our ongoing Summer Wine Series at the Clubhouse and Rupert’s. We will be joined by owners, Melanie Krause and Joe Schnerr from this award winning Idaho Winery. They have just been awarded the “Best Wine of Idaho” at the 2010 NorthWest Wine Summit for their 2009 Viognier. Come and taste this, alongside other wines, including some that have not even been released to the public yet! $20 per person includes tastings accompanied by Chef Chris’ delicious appetizers. CIMBA Mountain Bike Fling Weekend at Jug Mountain

GOLF OPENING DELAYED

Mother Nature wasn’t kind to the course this Winter, but Craig and his crew have made great progress getting the course ready for play. However, with constant rain and freezing nights forecast over the next few days, we’ve decided to delay our opening until next Wednesday 2nd June.

GOLF COURSE & CLUBHOUSE RESTAURANT RE-OPENING

It might still be snowing, but we are aiming to open up the golf course for Memorial Day weekend! Tee times should be available from next Saturday 29th May.

The Clubhouse restaurant and bar will be opening this Friday 28th and we’ll be open Thursday through Monday from 11am serving lunch and dinner.
Woody will be back behind the bar serving his delicious drinks and look out for lots of familiar faces from last year- Monica, Katie, and Joanne to name a few. Although the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we will be serving a drink and snack service whilst the course is open on those days.

5TH ANNUAL NORDIC FOR LADIES

JMR’s 5th Annual Idaho NFL (Nordic for Ladies) held by McCall Memorial Hospital. Participants will enjoy lessons with expert instructors, a delicious healthy lunch, a chance to ski the trails on your own, with friends, or the instructors in the afternoon, and more….

$50 per person- Equipment, ski pass, and lunch included.
