Jug Mountain Ranch is pleased to offer golf lessons during select times this summer with Jim Empey. Jim is a member of the PGA of America and has been a golf professional and instructor since 1984. Jim is currently the Director of Instruction at Shadow Valley, and for the six years prior to this he was at The Golf House at Quail Hollow Golf Club in Boise. Since January of 2006, Jim has also served as the Director of Instruction at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon, in Tucson, Arizona. In both 2002 and 2004, Jim was named the "Teacher of the Year" in the Rocky Mountain Section of the PGA. In 2004-05 he was named one of the top three teachers in the State of Idaho by Golf Digest.
