David and Ruth Carey David was born in Northern California, but has always felt that McCall was his home. From the age of 7, he has spent nearly every summer and winter vacation living and working here. After gaining a degree in International Relations and Economics from Boston University, David then lived in England for 9 years. He worked as a manager in 5 star luxury hotels in London, gaining an understanding of many aspects of the service industry. Ruth has a degree in English from University College London and before moving to McCall worked as a personal assistant in the film industry - firstly for director Sam Mendes and then for the actress, Kate Winslet. David and Ruth moved to McCall in 2004 and are now the proud parents of two McCall little ones. David oversees operations at Jug Mountain, and is involved in all elements of the community. Watch out for him driving the Jug Mountain Pinzgauers around town. Ruth has a range of jobs and particularly enjoys working with the homeowners. They are both thrilled to be living in such a beautiful part of the world and to be working on such an exciting project. Georgina and Kevin Elliott Georgina was born and raised in Northern California. She has been coming to McCall every summer and winter since she was born and has now decided to bring her husband to start their family here. Georgina graduated from Suffolk University in Boston with a degree in English Literature. After graduation, she had worked in the restaurant and hotel industry as well as attending classes at the New England Culinary Institute for baking. At Jug Mountain Ranch, Georgina has many responsibilities, ranging from interior design to baking all of the restaurant's delicious desserts. Kevin Elliott graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Biology and made his way to the east coast where he graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. It was in Boston that Kevin met his future wife Georgina Carey. Georgina brought her husband back to the Carey's family Ranch in McCall where they were married in the Summer of 2002. As well as practicing dentistry at Cornerstone Dental in McCall and Cascade, Kevin greatly enjoys working at Jug Mountain Ranch and is in charge of insurance for the community. Kevin and Georgina have two young children, Carey and Lucy, who were both born in McCall. Bill McMurray, Director of Sales and Marketing Bill has been involved in real estate for 16 years and has specialized in larger community marketing and sales programs. Currently the owner of Community Real Estate with his wife Kate, Bill first came to work in McCall in 1996 as Project Director for Spring Mountain Ranch. In that position, he oversaw everything from infrastructure construction and entitlement of new phases, to real estate sales and marketing programs, to the development of the homeowners association. Outside of work, Bill enjoys the recreation McCall offers, including skiing, camping, flyfishing and exploring the area on his motorcycle. Bill is the father of two grown children and grandfather of three. He is a graduate of San Jose State University. Craig O. Collins, General Manager of Golf Craig brings more than 35 years of experience in virtually every aspect of golf course management to Jug Mountain Ranch. A familiar face in the Idaho golf community, Craig most recently served as General Manager at MeadowCreek Golf Course in nearby New Meadows, in addition to owning and managing Collins Landscape Company in McCall. He has also served as General Manager, Course Superintendent and Assistant Golf Professional at Hillcrest Country Club in Boise, and as Course Superintendent at Nampa's Broadmore Country Club and McCall Golf Course in McCall. Glenn Ricker, Golf Pro Shop Manager Thanks to Glenn, the Jug Mountain Ranch Pro Shop will be stocked with everything you'll ever need to play the game, including top brands of equipment and apparel at extremely competitive prices. A veteran of the golf equipment industry (as well as the U.S. Navy), Glenn's experience has included posts as Sales Representative for Izod/Footjoy; Regional Manager for Izod; and Partner in Bill Mallon Associates, the firm that introduced Cole-Haan and Stanley Blacker to the golf industry. Mary Clemmer, Restaurant Manager/"Chef" Mary is a long-time McCall restaurateur. She owned the Huckleberry Café and then after 6 years working for the Alaska Fire Service, returned to McCall to the McCall Golf Course and most recently to Brundage. Mary consistently produces delicious meals, but is refreshingly down to earth and hates to be called "Chef". BJ Sullivan, Front of House and Beverage Manager BJ moved to McCall with her young family after many years running the Sawtooth Club in Ketchum. After a period working at North Fork Café, she now heads up Mary's team at the Clubhouse. BJ has an impressive wine knowledge and is responsible for ever-expanding and evolving wine lists at both the Clubhouse and Rupert's. Patrick Harper Patrick joined JMR in 2007 as our recreation director. He is an outstanding adventure athlete with extensive experience in extreme whitewater paddling and cross-country ski racing. He has spent virtually his entire life cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, hiking, ultra-running, kayaking, climbing, biking, and rafting. Patrick has guided and taught kayaking, skiing and rafting for over 17 years. |   |
