Winter is a magical time at Jug Mountain Ranch. When the snow starts to fall, the golf course and mountain biking trails are transformed into a Nordic paradise! Jug boasts over 25 km of groomed trails provided by Gregg Lawley of Precision Snow Grooming and miles of snowshoe trails. With terrain for every skill level that winds through trees, along Boulder Creek, and up to the Jug Reservoir, your Nordic adventure awaits! All of our snowshoe and Nordic trails are also open to dogs!

2013 Events:

January 19 & 20 | Ranch Race
Presented by Jug Mountain Ranch in partnership with the Idaho Nordic Club, the Ranch Race is back again in 2013! January 19th will be Skate Races of 10k & 20k distances plus kids races of varying distances. January 20th will be Classic Races of 5k & 10k distances with kids races of varying distances. Thank you for a wonderful event!

February 9 & 10 | McCall Remastered Nordic Race
A brand new race in the McCall area featuring skate technique races and a point-to-point hill climb. On February 9th, skate technique races will be held at Ponderosa State Park with distances of 15k and 45k. Kids events will also be hosted at this time. On February 10th, a 6k hill climb will be hosted at Jug Mountain Ranch. Test your uphill endurance on our point-to-point course starting from the Clubhouse and climbing to the Upper Jug Reservoir. Kids events will also be hosted on the 10th!
